Welcome to www.needahand.com.  My site originally began as a tribute to my favorite writer John Irving, inspired by his 2001 novel The Fourth Hand, and has evolved, so far, into a low-key gathering place for readers of all kinds, writers, and other imaginative people.  We'll always have a special emphasis on the works of John Irving and other books and writers that might appeal to John Irving readers around the world, but we have many more topics to discuss.......
